RKSJR's Bookmarks et cetera

Welcome to RKSJR's Bookmarks et cetera.

My initials are RKSJR, and this is my prototype homepage.

I will be changing or replacing this prototype page, but I will not introduce any graphic, audio, or CGI files on Grex, in compliance with the Grex policy.

Understandably, I'm not the only RKSJR on the information super highway;

Understandably, I'm not the only RKSJR on the information super highway;
i.e. there are other participants in the wonders of the world wide web
with the same initials as mine, "RKSJR".

For example, I recently discovered by performing a web search on myself,
that among other RKSJRs, there is an "RKSJR" referred to in one of the
pages of the web site at altdotcom (replace "dot" with a ".") who is not
me.

On a more recent occasion (April 2006), I discovered that even though I
was honored to have a link to my website

     http://www.cyberspace.org/~rksjr/abs.html#Manuelidis2

placed on one of the life7.2chDOTnet websites (replace "DOT" with a "."),
I also discovered that many links on the life7.2chDOTnet site (including
links labeled as linking to a cdc.gov site, a ucsf.edu site, and the link
to my site) had been altered, such that when those links are accessed (or
clicked), page visitors are directed to a site the content of which is
unfortunately quite different from that which we (the CDC or the UCSF or
I) had intended.

The aforementioned different content is unfortunate because: i. it's
demeaning to women, and ii. the subject matter is not the intended subject
matter of the medical journal article by Manuelidis EE, and Manuelidis L.

Given that the link to my site (referred to above) is a link [[in]] a
website to which I have no editorial access (even if it is a link [[to]] a
site to which I do have editorial access, i.e. my website), my only
recourse is that of notification. Without the password and access
authorization, I am powerless regarding any prospective repair of the
altered link (or links) in the life7.2chDOTnet site.

The site which you are currently reading was designed and edited
by rksjr@cyberspace.org, and
web server access was provided by Grex.
