This is a little story I'm writing in my spare time. See, in Cali, if you have Transformers, either toys or tapes, you kewl. Well, I've the movie and some toys, along with exstensive knowledge, so I figured I'd make my own personal character. Please welcome the first leader of the Autobots, predecesor to Optimus Prime (and his good friend), Automus Prime. Read the story. Its only the begining. -Trax -------------- The Tale of Automus Prime Part One: Prolouge Welcome, young one. Welcome to my humble abode. Tell me, what is your name? "My name is Hardware. What's yours?" My name is of no importance. Come, sit down. "Why?" I'm going to tell you a tale. My days near the fading sunset, and my secrets must be passed. I'm going to pass them on to you. "What is the story about?" Its a tale of heroes, a tale of tragedy. Its the tale that shaped all history, and kept our future alive. "Heroes? Was Optimus Prime there? Or Grimlock?" Indeed, though Prime wouldn't know it. Lad, I say to you now, what I am about to tell you, you must pass it on to him, no matter what the cost. "Who? Optimus Prime?" Yes. "But...." No more. Time is short, and I have much to tell you. 4 million cycles ago, Optimus Prime and his ship the Ark, holding the noble Autobots, crashed on the Terran world Earth. But they were not alone. The evil Decepticons, lead by Megatron, also crashed there, within the Ark. But you know of such already. What youth doesn't dream of the days of the Great War. Now, I will tell you something that no one else knows, but those who were there. A young Autobot, named Automus, was the first to hold the Matrix of Leadership. When the Decepticons first attacked the Autobots, Automus Prime led the resistance. After he and his forces suffered heavily due to cut-backs on energon cubes, Automus relinquished command to his old friend, Orion Pax, also known as Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime, weilding the Matrix after rising through the ranks, chased the Decepticons to Earth. Meanwhile, on Cybertron, Automus Prime was held in court for treason. His brother, the Decepticon Soundwave, had been with Megatron in the initial attack. Thus, Automus was linked to the Decepticons, and ultimately blamed for the Autobot's early losses. Automus was exiled from his home, along with his followers. They were hence called the Exilbots, and every one of them was stricken from the records. Automus Prime and the Exilbots, for 4 million years, after not hearing from the Decepticons since Optimus Prime left, spent there time harrasing the Quinticons. What better way to take out your rage then on your former captors. Then the Cybertronian Wars erupted again in 1984, earth calander, when the Ark was awaken. The Exilbots are nowhere to be seen. 2005: Unicron appears. Megatron had killed Opimus Prime and destroyed Autobot City. Rodimus Prime defeated Unicron with the Matrix, as Optimus promised. When the funeral barge of Autobot City was revisited, the Autobots found a seal over Optimus Prime's body. The seal of Automus Prime. After he was reactivated by the Quitisons, and again years later, Optimus Prime left Cybertron once more to search for his friend and the Exilbots, to bring them home. In 2250, after the Proto-forms were developed, Optimus Prime still had found no trace of the Exilbots. Then the Predicons stole a ship, and disappeared with the Axolon. Now here's the part nobody knows. Automus Prime, after discovering that Grimlock, disguised as Dinobot, had been aboard the Axolon, did what few Autobots had done.......change himself into a proto-form, a Maximal. It was the only way he could get close enough to a Maximal craft. Automus, changing his name to Draconis, stole a fighter craft and left searching for the Axolon. He was pursued by Maximal and Autobot forces alike, learning of his true identity. Optimus Prime himself tried to reach Draconis, but he disappeared, and has not been seen since. "So, what happened?" That, my lad, is the story. End Part One.
