Slipstream's Entrance Bumblebee didn't like being in a decepticon base. Even the fact that it had been abandoned didn't settle his fears much. It was still an evil, dark place to Bumblebee. Due to Bumbelbee's size, he had been assigned to go into a shaft which lead to Primus-knows-where. Bumblebee smiledas he saw the end of the cramped shaft. He pushed off the grate, and wriggled inside. He looked around and switched on his radio. "Seems to be some sort of storage room, Magnus." He quietly said. "Well, look around, and tell me what you find." Came the reply of Ultra Magnus. "Sigh.....Ok..." Bumblebee grumbled back. "There's absolutley nothing to worry about Bumblebee." Came the reply, Bumblebee could just see Ultra Magnus grinning. Bumblebee searched around, and found a pile of steel crates, each labled with it's contents. Bumblebee wiped years of dust off one of the smaller crates, it read "Tank." Bumblebee shrugged and opened the crate. He looked at it and gasped. A human lay in the crate, this was no normal human however. Bumblebee searched his memory, and found out what "Tank" was. "Early human/computer merging...a cyborg!" He whispered. Tank had obviously been de-activated for a while, what skin he had left had long since decomposed, leaving white bone underneath a dusty helmet. Bumblebee spoke to his radio, "Magnus? I found Tank!" He beamed. "Tank?" Questioned Ultra Magnus. "The early human/computer merge...the Cyborg." Bumblebee told him. "Oh, I remember now...what would the decepticons want with a cyborg?" Ultra Magnus wondered aloud. Bumblebee was beginning to relax, and began relieving more crates of the years of dust that had gathered on them. Bumblebee turned and opened a door. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Ultra Magnus heard over his radio. "Bumblebee? What's going on?" He shouted into the radio. Ultra Magnus ran to the door and smashed it open. He then ran to the storage room where Bumblebee was, smashing throughmultiple walls to get to the smaller Autobot. When he arrived, he found Bumblebee struggling with a deactivated Decepticon. Ultra Magnus picked up the Decepticon, and helped Bumblebee up. "Don't worry, he's been deactivated," Magnus wiped his finger on the decepticon, clearing a finger-sized path of dust, "for a while it looks like." The large autobot looked at the decepticon closely. "Bumblebee, do you recognize him?" "No, Ultra Magnus, I don't. Bumblebee was beginning to calm down, he had stopped shaking. "Let's get him back to base, and see what the others have to say about him." Magnus grinned, "Care to ride?" He asked Bumblebee. "That'd be cool, Magnus. My fuel pump can't take much more excitement." Bumblebee smiled up at the larger autobot. "Then let's roll." Magnus said and the two walked out of the decepticon base. Outside, Magnus transformed into his Tractor trailer mode, and Bumblebee jumped into the trailer, and quickly transformed into his Vw beetle mode. Magnus shouted "Let's go!" and his mighty engine roared, and headed back to the autobot base. Back at Autobot base, perceptor looked at the deactivated decepticon. "He has _never_ been activated." His data systems have been programmed, but he's never been given the spark of life. Which leads to an interesting theory. Should we clear his memory, reprogram him and then reactivate him?" Perceptor looked up at his commander. "Keep his memories. Can you change the ones that makes him a decepticon? I'd like to find out what they needed the Cyborg for." "Cyborg?" asked Perceptor "Oh, that's right, BUMBLEBEE!" Magnus shouted. "Comin!" Bumblebee ran in, Tank slumped over his shoulder, "Thought I'd clean tank up, get the dust off and all." "Amazing! This is Tank! The prototype human/computer merge!" Perceptor gasped. "Am I the only one who didn't know about him?" Muttered Ultra Magnus, his huge white form shrugging. Bumblebee smiled up at Ultra Magnus and shrugged as well. He then turned to Perceptor. "Can you re-activate him?" He gestured at Tank. "Yes, I think so. Should just be a matter of connecting a few wires, and re-energizing his systems," Perceptor worked as he spoke, and before too long, the Cyborg began to stir. "ruh-booottss!" It said, before Bumblebee and Perceptor could react, Tank had opened a hatch and was firing small lazer blasts at the pair. Ultra Magnus dove behind Tank and grabbed him, facing him away from the other autobots. "Shut him off!" Magnus shouted. Perceptor ran up and pulled some wires, causing the tiny form to go limp again. "I think we need to transfer his memory to a fully-automated system. It appears there has been extensive decomposition to his human parts." He sighed and began working on his patient. "I think I'll stay here." Said Bumblebee. "I have things to do, " replied Ultra Magnus, "keep me informed on Tank." He looked at Perceptor, who nodded in agreement. "Perceptor, what about the con?" Bumblebee asked. "Oh yes, the decepticon you brought in with Tank." "Do you think you should activate him?" "Ultra Magnus did say to reactivate him, to see why they needed Tank, I think I'll search his memory, to see what I can find there." Perceptor moved from the Cyborg to the decepticon, and began poking, prodding and pinching wires and nodding. "Allright, let's see here...he is designed to be a messenger droid. His name was going to be Slipstream, when they ever got around to activating him." "Slipstream?" Bumblebee questioned,. "Yes, Slipstream. Well, let's see what happens when we turn him on, shall we?" Perceptor flipped some switches, turned some dials and pressed some buttons. The decepticon was filled with billions of mega-watts of electricity. The small body flailed wildly, knocking vials and beakers off the table. "Well, he's prepared...now all we need is Prime with the matrix." He pressed a button, and a panel on his wrist opened up, upon which he called Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. Perceptor told him of his progress, and that his matrix energy was needed. "I see, " came Prime over the radio, " I shall be there soon. Out." "Well, Prime's on his way." Perceptor nodded to Bumblebee. Optimus Prime strode into the medical bay, and turned to Perceptor. "All right, I shall use the power of the matrix to give life to this being. Your sure you have everything under control?" "I've taken his gun, and disabled the lasers on his wing tips. He's unable to fight." Perceptor told Prime. "Ok, here goes..." Prime opened his chest plate, and removed the Matrix of Leadership. It glowed brightly as he held it in front of him. His chest panel closed, and Prime seemed to concentrate. A blue crackle of electricity shot out from the matrix and hit the prone decepticon. The decepticon screamed, as his eyes lit up a deep red color. "That should do it, he has been given life." Prime said as he put the Matix back in his chest panel. He looked at the decepticon and spoke. "Greetings Slipstream. You are inside an autobot base on Earth. I, am Optimus Prime." The decepticon moaned, sat up and gripped his head. "Autobot...." Slipstream searched his memory, "Autobot...we're fighting the Autobots?" He asked. "Yes, you were created by decepticon, but were given life an autobot." Prime said. "We know your function was a messenger con...and that you were left hidded in a decepticon base, also here on Earth." Perceptor spoke. "I'm outta here!" Slipstream shouted and transformed into his second mode, a jet. He rose slighly, and shot straight up, smashing a hole in the ceiling as he crashed through. Once outside, he turned on full thrust. Within seconds, he was gone. "Blast!" Shouted Optimus Prime. "I am sorry Prime...I thought we had him under control." Perceptor apologised. Bumblebee nodded to Prime. "Do we have any way of tracking him?" Optimus asked. "No, not to my knowlegde..." Perceptor sighed. "It looks out we just helped the decepticon cause..." Bumblebee mused out loud. Slipstream screamed across the continent, covering it's width in just under ten minutes. He tried his radio, but the autobots had shut it off, and he didn't know how to re-activate it. He flew around the planet, becoming aquainted with his birth world. Hours later, he had circled the globe four times, and was begining to tire. He landed at an air field, transformed and sat down. He peered around, small pink things had begun to swarm around him. They were yelling at him and waving small pink arms. Slipstream picked one up and examined it. He shrugged and tossed it over his shoulder. He smiles at the noise it made. Slipstream picked up another one. This one was different. It had long fibers attached to it's head, and seemed to have two fleshy lumps on it's torso. He picked up the one he tossed, no fleshy lumps. Puzzled, he set them down and began to think. One of the pink things aimed a pipe at him. Slipstream chuckled. The pipe made alot of noise, and Slipstream felt something hit his armor. He frowned and picked up the pink thing with the pipe. He threw the small thing into a funny square box. The pink thing hit the wall with a loud "splortch" and ceased to move. Slipstream began to worry when a large vehicle approached him, it was roughly his size, and it had a much larger pipe sticking out of it. He thought of the first pipe and stood up. He jumped up and transformed into his jet mode. The vehicle shot at him, making lots of nise. Slipstream had allready shot skyward, continuing his search for fellow decepticons. Slipstream glanced around, there were planed around him now, he spoke to them "Are you Decepticons?" He Asked. "Un-identified craft, land or be shot down." A voice came over his radio. "Land or be shot down? I'm affraid not." He laughed and gained speed, quickly gaining distance between him and the other jets. Suddenly, one of the jets exploded. Confused, Slipstream saw another group of jets, mercelessly blasting the pink thing's jets with high powered laser weaponry. One of the jets approached him. "You must be the one looking for us!" It spoke. Slipstream, confused replied, "Yes, are you decepticons?" The other jet laughed, and fired a missile at the remaining pink thing jet, it exploded in a bright flash. "Does that answer your question?" The other jet laughed out loud, "follow us, we'll take you to lord Megatron." "Megatron?" Slipstream questioned. "Yes, just follow us." "You'd better be fast, because I'm not one to fly at slow speeds." Slipstream warned. "Ok Hot-Shot, here's the coordinates to our base." the jet spoke. Slipstream recieved the coordinates and shot out ahead of the decepticons, who gasped at his speed. Within minutes, he was soon floating over the cooirdinates in his robot mode. The other decepticons returned some hours later. "Where's this base?" Slipstream asked. "You don't have the remote." Said one of the other jets. The jet transformed, and aimed a device into the deep water below. A large pipe rose from the water, and opened a panel. The other decpeticons flew into the open panel, Slipstream followed them and soon got lost in a network of mazes. Well, that's all i've got so far. I am in college and can't seem to find much time to write it, but It will get finished no fear. -- "You can't make an omelet without beating the living daylights out of a few eggs." - Comet Guy
